Every license excludes standalone music uploads, DSP redistribution, customer Content ID registration, AI training, sublicensing, and unapproved derivative works.
Why do I need a license to play music in my business?+
Business playback can involve public-performance and other music rights, while consumer streaming plans are generally intended for personal use. The correct route depends on the music, country and use. Our agreement documents the HMF rights and playback method included in your specific license.
Does this replace ASCAP / BMI / PRS licenses?+
Not automatically. Collecting-society requirements vary by territory, use and how composition rights are administered. Before payment, we confirm the rights HMF can license directly and state any separate local requirement in writing. Music from other artists is never covered by an HMF license.
How does this relate to SoundExchange or streaming royalties?+
SoundExchange, The MLC and performing-rights societies administer different rights and uses. Your HMF agreement identifies the recordings, composition rights, territory, playback method and permitted use being licensed; it does not make a blanket promise about every third-party or statutory obligation.
What exactly can I do with the license?+
A Space license covers background playback of the catalog at the named premises, using the playback source and number of rooms or devices stated in the agreement. It does not cover redistribution, resale, use in videos or apps, or any location outside the agreed scope.
Why license healing frequency music specifically?+
The catalog is designed for calm environments: long, steady, wordless pieces at 432 Hz, 528 Hz and the Solfeggio tones, with no abrupt dynamic changes. It gives spaces a consistent atmosphere without the interruptions of ad-supported playback.
Can I use the music in my YouTube videos or podcast?+
The Creator license covers a curated 20-track pack as background music in your own monetized content on one named channel or property, subject to the signed scope. After agreement and payment, we allowlist the named YouTube channel within three business days. Standalone music uploads, DSP redistribution and Content ID registration by you are not permitted.
Can the music be used to train AI models?+
No. Every license class explicitly excludes using our recordings or compositions to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning models. If you have a legitimate research request, contact us for separate written terms.
How do I start?+
Email us with your business name, country, intended use and preferred tier. We confirm the rights and territory, then send the agreement and payment link. Coverage begins only after the agreement is accepted and payment is confirmed.
